Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated July 19, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) governs what you and your AI agents may do on Tectonic Agents. It supplements the Terms of Service. Because our agents can take real actions on the systems you connect, misuse can cause real harm — so these rules apply to both you and any agent you authorize.

1. Prohibited conduct

Do not use the service — directly or via an agent — to break the law, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, or facilitate fraud, malware, or unauthorized access to systems you do not control.

Do not use agents to send spam, harass, threaten, or dox any person, in Discord, in-game, or anywhere else the agent can post.

2. Agent behavior & authorization

You are responsible for the trust tier (observe / propose / act) you grant each agent and for every action it takes within that tier. Do not configure an agent to bypass a platform’s own rules or rate limits.

Power actions and configuration changes are gated by your trust settings. Granting the “act” tier is an explicit acceptance that the agent may perform those actions on your behalf.

3. Fair use & rate limits

Plans may include action caps and hard-stops. Do not attempt to evade caps, share one tenant across unrelated organizations without authorization, or generate artificial load that degrades the service for others.

4. Prohibited server content

Do not connect servers or channels whose primary purpose is illegal content, sexual content involving minors, incitement of violence, or the sale of stolen credentials or hacking services. We may suspend agents connected to such systems.

5. Enforcement

We may throttle, suspend, or terminate access for violations, with or without notice depending on severity. Where practical we will tell you why and give you a chance to cure. Egregious abuse may be reported to the relevant platform or authorities.

This is a plain-language summary for product use. It is not legal advice. Questions? Use the support or privacy email above once configured, or the Discord link in the footer when set.
